    I went to the Fry's located off of Executive and Northwest in Dallas, TX in search of a new TV. I have never purchased a television before and had a lot of questions. I noticed almost immediately that the young Hispanic salesmen would not make eye contact or would go out of their way NOT to be available to help me when I would walk up to them.     So far I have had the worst experience with Fry Electronics and this is no small petty issue, it borderlines illegal. I purchased a $1 650.00 high-end custom build computer for my studies overseas.     I received the add in my Dec 25th newspaper advertising the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" at 99.99. I was at the Oxnard store when it opened at 7 this morning and there were none in the store no floor model nothing.     I am one of your good customers. I always shop for my electronic need. I am very much annoyed and disappointed about Fry's customer service at their Webster, TX location. I was shopping today, 9/24/13, at 2:00 PM. The employee of this store does not care about older /senior customer. They do not attend the Handicap register, which is out of service, refuse to help handicap because it is too far from the regular checkout counter.     WENT TO BUY 1 OF 2 FLAT SCREENS ADVERTISED - BOTH ADVERTISED AS NEW. TURNED OUT THEY ONLY HAD THE ONES ON DISPLAY (USED) BUT THE PRICE WAS THE SAME AS ADVERTISED.     Seriously the WORST experience I have had with online shopping. I ordered a book from them on 12/19/12 I paid extra for 2nd day shipping to be sure the item would be delivered prior to Christmas. Frys proceeded to ship me the item on 12/20/12. I received the book in a timely manner HOWEVER, the book I received looked like it had been drug on the floor on both the front and back and was permanently curled up like a newspaper would be to smack a spider.     HAPPY THANKSGIVING, not if its up to Frys!!! I bought a samsung 65" 1080P 120HZ LED HDTV on 11-21-12. We set it up after a wonderful Thangsgiving meal, feeling blessed. Well, our TV had 2 big spots on it with a line across it and NO picture, only could be seen once plugged in.     CROOKS!!! I went to Fry's and the salesman knowingly sold me a laptop that had been previously returned by a customer and claimed it was a new one.     This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I have never had such rotten service in my life! Both the online reps failed miserably and so did the store managers at the Fishers store in Indiana. The online department could not figure out how to allow me to use a gift card and a debit card at the same time. Really??!!     Fry's Electronics, Las Vegas. Lying and deceitful service people on top of selling very poor quality products and bogus warranties. I bought an e-machine desktop for 300$ for my son to do his homework. A few months later it crashes and I bring it back because I purchased a warranty with it. I am told by the technician that if it is a software problem the warranty doesn't cover it and I will have to pay an additional 59$ to reinstall windows.     My last frustrating trip to Fry's occurred yesterday May 27th at the Campbell store. Picked up a TP Link N adapter that was advertized for 3.99 (regular price 12.99), verified with a store employee that it was the advertized model, at checkout the non sales price came up, when I showed the flyer was told by a supervisor that the add was for a different model that was sold out.     I purchased a hard drive dock, along with several over items. The hard drive dock had a two dollar discount (open box) which was rung up incorrectly at checkout. No big deal, it was only two bucks I was fine with letting it go, however they weren't and cleared it up after 20 minutes of my waiting and gave me a separate tag for it.     My husband bought external hard drive for my birthday. I was very happy to receive it as a gift.     my families spent more than 50,000.00 on electronics product at Fry's through out the years, everything we bought we spent money on the extended warranty as well. it took fry's 7 months long to fixed my tv and nobody able to tell you straight answer about status of the repair.When my black berrybold 9700 key pad stopped working, they replaced it with a blackberry storm which not even close to what I had.     These guys are liars and don't stand behind their products. Beware do not shop here you'll get ripped off.     We purchased a camera at Fry's in September 2011. A Sales Person talked us into buying extended warranty for that camera, saying that extended warranty covers absolutely everything, if you drop your camera in the lake and it stops working, the extended warranty would cover it.   • Extended Warranty Woes - Replacement GPS is Downgrade



    I bought a 2 year extended warranty when I got my new Garmin 1300 in around June of this year. Yesterday I turned it in for repair or what I thought was in-kind replacement. I asked specifically if the replacement would be equal to or better than the original since they did not have the 1300 in stock. Was told YES.     I would suggest that the store manager review assignments for cash register checkers. At about 2:30 on 6 June, there were about 10 patrons awaiting checkout at Store #44, Oxnard, CA. There were two checkers manning cash registers. There was one manager (?) standing behind the checkers, observing; another manager (?) standing near the queue where the patrons entered for checkout; and a third person telling the patrons which of the two checkers to use.     I ordered a television from Fry's via telephone. It has been 1 month and my order does not show up at all. I have talked to several customer reps and same answer. My check has cleared my bank over 2 1/2 weeks ago and they still will NOT ship the order. I would like to get my money back and forget FRY'S ever existed!!     My husband purchased a new, Top of the line, Sony laptop for our child that was going away to college (Sept. 2010). Additionally a three yr. extended warranty was purchased.     Their server went down when they ran my credit card. So they ran it twice, and assured me that it would only go through once. The manager was rude, not helpful at all.     If you're not spending a small fortune at Fry's they're not willing to help you. They also won't honor a shelf price that matches the UPC number.     fry's took more than two months to try to fix my computer to no avail. Diagnostic machine should be named misdiagnostic machine!.     I bought a Toshiba laptop in February of 2008. It is a gaming laptop. In June of that year it shut off during game play and wouldn't come back up.
